Fans of the Disney Fairies franchise have always known the world of Tinker Bell and her friends is more than just movies, magazines and mobile apps: it’s a vast multiplayer online universe where you can create your own fairy avatar, play games, design fashions and interact with thousands of other Tinker Bell fans.
Err, well…it used to be, anyway.
As it happens, Disney shut down the Pixie Hollow online world in September 2013, just two months after I raved about the Disney Fairies Fashion Boutique app (which I came THISCLOSE to spending real $$$ playing). But on September 19th, Pixie Hollow vanished, and along with it, the Disney Fairies Fashion Boutique app.

What about Disney Fairies Fly and the Disney Fairies Magazine? Are they still around? Nope. All gone. Poof. It’s as if they never existed.
Of course, Disney can delete Pixie Hollow from the internet and remove the games from the App Store, but my blog posts are still online. I didn’t even know Disney purged the Disney Fairies universe until I received several comments from readers who couldn’t find the Fashion Boutique in the App Store. The comments were from angry Fairies fans who loved the fashion boutique app but couldn’t download it on new devices and were unable to recover the game after accidentally deleting the original download.
As a Fashion Boutique fan, the frustrations of other gamers inspired me to investigate the vanishing app. The internet isn’t always the easiest place to find things that no longer exist, but after a fair amount of Googling, I found an FAQ explaining Disney’s purge of Pixie Hollow and its related apps.
Unfortunately, the FAQ page is a JPG image, making it inaccessible to screen readers and devices without image support, and the text can’t be read and indexed by search engines. To help the distraught Fairies fans who come to Blogging Disney looking for answers, I’ve copied Disney’s official FAQ below.

Oh man. OH MAN. We didn't lock the door!
Gah, it's too late. It's too late! The hype has already gotten in. There's no backing out now. You didn't read that title wrong, nor did we make any sort of typo:
In celebration of Toontown's 11th Anniversary, Toontown Rewritten has just moved into a Semi-Open Beta to give everyone the chance to play.
Now, hang on to that hype for a minute. Semi-Open Beta? There was definitely a 'Semi-Open' in front of that 'Beta'. What does that mean? If you've been following Toontown Rewritten for a while, you should know by now that we love doing things differently around here. Open Beta definitely isn't an exemption from that!
Toontown Rewritten has come a long way in the past 9 months, and we've all been working our hardest to make sure that everyone is able to play the game as soon as possible. The problem was, simply, it just isn't ready yet! Even now, we still aren't quite content with the testing to call it complete. This is where you come in.
We've listened to your feedback from the giveaways, and from it we've put together an awesome system to allow everyone to have a chance to play Toontown again and help us get this game ready for release. Now, enough of the rambling. Let's learn about how to play!
1. Enter the PlayLine
By hopping onto the PlayLine, you'll be put into a queue to make sure that you can enter the game as soon as a slot is available.
It may take a while depending on how many people are in line, but once you reach the front you'll be able to play nonstop for the next three hours!
Enter the PlayLine2. Plan a PlayTime
Scheduling a PlayTime is the most reliable way to get in game, and you don't even have to wait in line!
YOU get to pick the time and date to enter the game, and all you have to do is, well, show up. No lines necessary.
Schedule a PlayTime3. Turn PlayTime into AnyTime
'Beta Keys' are a one-way ticket to enter the game any time you want without waiting in the PlayLine or scheduling a PlayTime! There are plenty of ways to earn Beta Keys -- the easiest one is by simply playing. When playing the game through a PlayTime session, Toon HQ will occasionally offer Beta Key ToonTasks to earn your very own key. They won't start appearing until you get to working on tasks in Daisy Gardens, so you'll have to work hard to get it!
Once you have earned a Beta Key, you can head over to the 'Account' page to redeem it. Once you've redeemed it, you can open the launcher and play whenever you want! If you already have a key applied to your account, you can give it to a friend. It's easy as pie! There will be plenty of pies involved to get it, too.Redeem a Beta Key
Keep in mind that all of these features are SUPER experimental, and part of the Beta process of Toontown Rewritten. We're going to be tweaking them based off of your suggestions, and of course the limit of people allowed in at once will expand over time. In the meantime, to ensure everyone has a proper chance, PlayTime sessions last for 3 hours at a time. The game will let you know when your time is up, then you can schedule a new one or hop back into the PlayLine!
So, what are you waiting for? Click the big flashing 'PLAY' button, create an account (No beta key required!) and start your journey back into Toontown. If you hurry, you may be able to get to the front of the line!

This is so awesome! :D I do have a question though; After you register and validate, and you have a session running, when you finish downloading the installer and try to log in (after files are complete), is it supposed to show a blank screen where it updated the files? This is absolutely amazing!!But it takes time to enter and if you close the tab the wait time will reset SO DONT CLOSE IT but this is great :)

Unable to play ttr after waiting in line for a few days. Errors updating the files and then when it finally loads in the last hour available to play the screen is just gray after authenticating.. :(

I just wanted to say that I found some bugs during my 3 hour playtime.1. Overall Performance - Many large lag spikes, and the game froze many times for me and many other people. This took place during the 3 a.m. pst playtime, and there was na average of 310 people on.2. Glitchy Activities - I would go to fishing / a NCP and it would act like it was working, but nothing would come up and I couldn't move. This happened during fishing, talking to the fishing person where you sell the fish at, gag shop, and some other places.3. Accuracy? - I missed 5 throws in a row -_-. Idk if that is just bad luck but lol I face palmed hard from this.
